Patti Washington

In 1992, I moved to Birmingham from Pensacola, Florida. My love for animals and natural ability to work well with them led me to a job at The Met Vet that same year. I met my best friend and husband there, Dr. Hugh Washington. I worked there for 16 years as a Veterinary Technician, Receptionist, and currently Practice Manager and Groomer. In the 80’s, I worked as a hair stylist, so grooming animals came very natural to me. I saw a real need over the years for a competent, caring groomer, who had a good work ethic. I have been grooming for 11 years now and love it! I became aware that mobile grooming offers personalized options for pets and their owners. During your pet’s appointment your pet has my full attention, rather than being handled by several grooming shop employees. You can feel confident that your pet is receiving the best possible care, as their safety and well-being is my sole focus during their grooming experience.
